Corps members will be immersed in the wild beauty and spiritual power of our northwestern Wyoming landscape during their service year.

The beauty of our setting contributes to the growth experience offered in this service year. Cody, Wyoming is a small town located in northwestern Wyoming and surrounded by beautiful mountains and wide-open spaces. It is central to both shopping and medical care. Cody is located only fifty miles from Yellowstone National Park. The area is a popular setting for outdoor recreation and is a hub for western history and art. Cody is also close to many native sacred spaces. Visits and retreat weekends to these “thin” spaces will add opportunities for spiritual reflection and deepening. Corps members will be immersed in the wild beauty and spiritual power of our landscape during their service year.

Wyoming Service Corps members call Thomas the Apostle Center (TAC) home. TAC is a spiritual retreat center that provides communal living space complete with a chapel, labyrinth, and a Stations of the Cross/prayer walk up Dinosaur Ridge against which TAC is built. This sacred space has served as a place of healing, rejuvenation, and growth for thousands over the years.

Corps share rooms, a kitchen, dining area as well as common areas for meeting, gathering, and play. The entire campus was originally built by an artist, and there is a small gallery in the Studio House as well. One of the rooms is handicapped accessible.
